Bringing the Curriculum to Your School
We’ve designed the Sources of Strength elementary curriculum to be both powerful and practical– something schools can implement in a way that feels authentic and sustainable. Whether you’re starting small or going schoolwide, there’s a pathway that fits.
Matt Hofmeister explained it best: “We want people to say yes not because they’re being told to, but because they’ve been invited into something that feels right.”
Two Approaches to Rollout
We offer both soft and full rollout models:

- Soft Rollout: Starts with a few passionate staff members who are ready to lead. This grassroots model uses social networking theory: when respected colleagues start using the curriculum, others naturally follow.
- Full Rollout: Brings the whole school on board at once. We support this approach with professional development tools that help staff ease into the work through engaging professional development, short accessible activities and a staff wellbeing structure.
Training and Support
Most schools start by sending one or two staff members to a two-day Elementary Coaches Training. These coaches:
- Learn the curriculum’s philosophy and structure
- Receive facilitation tools and ongoing support
- Lead the charge in implementation at their site
They’re equipped with everything they need to train peers and help embed the curriculum into existing structures.
We also offer short training activities, 10-minute PD moments, and reflection tools designed to fit into busy school schedules.
Purchasing and Flexibility
Schools purchase the curriculum per site, per grade level, with the option to:
- Start with one or two grade levels and expand over time
- Align implementation with other initiatives already in motion
- Incorporate the adult wellness component alongside student lessons
This flexibility helps each school build momentum in a way that makes sense for their unique community.
“Shout out to the in-depth knowledge the Sources team has about the curriculum resources! Knowing units, lessons, topics and details is so helpful!”
If you’re ready to shift school culture and build Strengths, we’re ready to help.
